Gluten-Free Chocolate Layer Cake

This is basically just a picture post for now. I made this chocolate cake last week for Chris. 

I decorated it "rustic style."

It's surprisingly moist for a gluten-free cake. 

It's a bit difficult to show moistness in a picture! Haha

I had surgery to fix my septum/nose on Monday, so I'm on "take it super easy" mode until Friday at least. I don't really trust myself to type up a long, coherent post while on meds, so I'll try to remember to update with the recipe sometime next week. :)

FO Show-off Post: Tri-Color Linen Stitch Cowl

It's finally finished!

My tri-color linen stitch cowl is finished!

I still need to block it, and the gauge got a little tight at the top because I was a weeeee bit annoyed at the dealer while I was waiting to get my car worked on. 

But it's finished!

I'm pretty proud of it.

I'm still in love with this stitch!
